Kathryn Bernardo Opens Up About Feeling Lost: ‘I’m in a Transition Stage’

MANILA, Philippines — Award-winning actress and television personality Kathryn Bernardo recently shared that she is experiencing a phase of uncertainty in her life, admitting to feeling “lost” as she approaches her 29th birthday.

During the media conference for the upcoming season of Pilipinas Got Talent, where she serves as a judge, Bernardo candidly spoke about her emotions, describing them as a form of “birthday blues.”

“I’m turning 29 in a few days. I’m at a point in my life again where I feel so lost,” she revealed. “I remember feeling the same way when I gave a message during the thanksgiving party for The Hows of Us.”

Despite her fears, the A Very Good Girl star emphasized her commitment to showing up and embracing life’s uncertainties. “To be honest, I’m scared, but I think it’s brave to acknowledge that and still choose to grow. Every day, I show up, just like what Donny [Pangilinan] said earlier,” she added.

Bernardo believes she may be experiencing a quarter-life crisis, reflecting on the next steps in her career and personal journey. “I keep asking myself, ‘What’s next for me?’ I’m feeling so many emotions, but I think it’s important to acknowledge them. I’m allowing myself to be vulnerable, and I no longer hide these feelings from people.”

The actress also revealed that she is moving into her own place, marking a major transition in her life. “I see this as a crucial stage because the next few years will determine my future. It’s my way of getting to know myself better and growing as a person,” she explained.

While she remains uncertain about what lies ahead, Bernardo is embracing the process with an open mind. “Yes, I’m scared. I don’t know what will happen or if I can do it, but I’m here for growth. So, wish me luck in the coming months.”

Bernardo is set to join Pilipinas Got Talent alongside fellow judges Eugene Domingo, Donny Pangilinan, and Freddie FMG Reyes. The show will premiere on March 29 and 30, with Melai Cantiveros and Robi Domingo as hosts.
